America’s Longest Serving Aircraft Carrier
Experience “Midway Magic” aboard USS Midway, the nation’s newest
naval aviation museum. Located on San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego at Navy Pier, Midway
provides a dynamic and enriching experience as guests take a look back at the history of
America's longest serving aircraft carrier. No other carrier carries such a proud—many
say “magical”—tradition of diligence, vigilance and mission completion.
Midway Magic was real. And it continues today at the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum.
Thousands from around the country contributed to the 12-year campaign to bring Midway to
San Diego for its final mission as a museum, tribute, education center and cultural attraction.
